Play lab introduced a “ New Education” where all the areas of personality of a child are developed, thus enabling a child to develop a unified personality. The first step id the introduction of practical life activities. These activities bring children close to the environment and help develop their fine motors skills, eye-hand co-ordination, concentration through order.

The Junior Maths lab at royal vidyalaya School, Madurai. “The Exponents Lab’ provides the students a place to engage in hands on-learning & explore the Mathematical concepts while having fun at the same time. The Maths lab has been designed keeping in mind the learner –centric approach. The students get the opportunities to engage in activity based learning and they are able to comprehend the abstract concepts of Maths using specially designed tools.
Here, the Visual and Kinesthetic learning styles facilitate learning and help in developing a favourable attitude towards the learning of Mathematics.

The Senior (Biology ) Lab at RV school Madurai, ‘ bight Spark Lab’. The word ‘Biology’ is derived from two Greek words-‘Bios’ means life and ‘logos’ means to study. So Biology is the study of life. School labs are a great place for students which help them enhance their learning by doing is understanding the theoretical concepts of science which are taught in classrooms.
To make the study of Biology livelier, the school has a well equipped biology laboratory with microscopes, preserves specimens, slide, models & bio-visual charts which emphasis ondeveloping scientific temper among students.
In the Biology Lab, the students are encouraged to learn through experiments & understand various concepts beyond their books away from the conventional classroom teaching. Every student from class IX to XII gets a chance tom perform the practical themselves under the supervision of the teachers.

The senior chemistry lab at RV school Madurai, ‘Pure Genius Lab’ is an excellent chemistry lab with all updated & well equipped apparatus & chemicals, a perfect learning environment where practical’s are a done by each & every individual under special guidance of the teachers.
All possible safety measure are taken & the children learn the hacks of chemistry by performing experiments. themselves, observing & desiring conclusions.
It is believed that laboratory teacher & experiments that are conducted there, will develop a deeper understanding in children. Children are able to retain knowledge for much larger when they se the experiments being performed infront of them.
